Basement Bathroom Installation

Affordable Baths completes all basement bathroom renovations from start to finish.  We supply all hardware, labor, materials, etc.  With us, there are no hidden fees or time-consuming delays and you can count on having the bathroom of your dreams done professionally, on time, and on budget.

Here is our basement bathroom installation process from start to finish:

Step 1

Location of basement bathroom is framed-out using 2x4 construction.

Step 2

Concrete floor is opened and ejector system is installed which helps to both filter waste and pump it out of the home.

(We also offer a SaniFlo system which does not involve breaking the concrete.  This will be determined after on-site inspection of the space.)

Step 3

Tub or shower drain is plumbed out and unit is set.  Vanity and toilet is also plumbed out, and proper ventilation is ensured.

Step 4

Concrete floor is filled in (at location of where the ejector system was installed) with new concrete, making it smooth and level for tile installation.

Step 5

Electrical for the ejector system, vanity light, fan/light combo, and GFI is roughed-out.  This includes all junction boxes, switches, etc.

Step 6

All new moisture-resistant sheetrock is installed throughout the walls and ceiling.  Sheetrock is skimmed, sanded, and prepared for paint application.

Step 7

Installation of tile and grout is completed in the same day using rapid set (if possible.)

Step 8

Vanity and vanity top are installed.

Step 9

Plumbing is finished.  Vanity faucet, toilet, shower head, shower valve, shower valve trim, and tub spout are installed.

Step 10

Electrical is finished, and fan/light combo, vanity light/sconces and switch plates are installed.

Step 11

Carpentry is finished.  Baseboard and trim are installed throughout bathroom.  Vanity hardware is installed as well as bathroom accessories (towel bar, towel ring, curtain rod, and toilet paper holder.)

Step 12

All debris is removed, and a final walkthrough of the bathroom is completed to ensure every last detail has been finished.
